Driver Class B

TITLE:CDL Class B Driver

DEPARTMENT: Shipping & Receiving

REPORTS TO: Shipping & Receiving Manager

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

Drives and operates a combination of trucks and vehicles that requires having a Class B commercial driver's license, to pick up and transport passengers and or equipment, assist in loading and keeping accurate and complete driving logs.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising appropriate levels of judgment and discretion.

Active Class A or Class B commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement.

Ability to read a map and or use navigational devices.

Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Clean driving record.

Ability and willingness to do physical labor.

Time management skills to ensure routes are completed efficiently and safely.

Flexibility to adapt to changes as needed.

Good problem-solving skills to address unexpected issues.

Desire to work as a team, while helping and interacting respectfully with each other.
