Summary: ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has immediate part-time/on call openings for a Banquet Captain. This position supervises and coordinates activities of banquet servers during banquets to ensure that food is served promptly. Regular attendance in conformance with the policies established by ASM Global is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Consults with Food & Beverage Manager regarding serving arrangements and if additional employee and equipment are required for a smooth event.

Oversees Food and Beverage operations during event to ensure client satisfaction and quality control standards.

Observes food being served to ensure that food is correctly garnished and arranged.

Trains other employees on processes and practices for food and customer service.
