Director Event Services

Job Summary: The Director, Event Services leads the planning, coordination and execution of T-Mobile Center events to ensure they are safe, organized and successfully delivered. This role leads the Event Services team, serves as a key contact for clients and internal partners, and oversees event readiness, communication, budgets and issue resolution.

• Essential Duties:
• Leadership & Staff Management

Provide direct supervision, coaching, training, and performance management for Event Coordinator staff.

Assign events and workloads based on department priorities, employee experience levels, and event complexity.

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development planning for direct reports.

Mentor Event Coordinators on client relationship management, event planning best practices, venue policies, and operational procedures.

Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for Event Services personnel.

Foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture focused on operational excellence, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. …
